Breast augmentation via IMF incision with silicone implants
Breast Augmentation Before and After photos
IDEAL IMPLANT structured breast implants via IMF incision
This patient underwent breast augmentation with silicone implants many years ago with a suboptimal outcome. She complained of unnatural breast shape, asymmetric implant position, droopiness of breast tissue over her implants and poor scarring around her areolae. I downsized her silicone implants and performed a concurrent vertical breast lift for a more natural and aesthetic breast shape. The after photos were taken at her 2-month post-op visit.
Here are some before and after photos of our happy patient 6 weeks after her breast augmentation with smooth, round 285cc moderate plus Sientra silicone implants via small periareolar incisions.
Mastopexy Augmentation (aka breast lift with implants) is one of the many ways to help women restore a youthful, fuller and lifted breast shape. In this patient, implants alone will not be able to fully correct the droopiness. A breast lift procedure performed simultaneously can reposition the nipple-areolar complex to a more youthful, centralized location. A small implant will then help add volume to the upper pole of the breasts, which a breast lift alone may not be sufficient to attain the volume to meet this patient’s aesthetic goals. There are different kinds of breast lifts: periareolar, circumareolar, vertical, vertical and horizontal scar techniques, etc. The type of lift needed is customized to each patient’s unique anatomical characteristics and aesthetic goals. To prolong the breast lift results, I recommend daily use of supportive bras and to avoid placement of large breast implants.
